The Network of Young Professionals is a 100% volunteer driven,
community-based organization dedicated to helping make Tallahassee a
city where young professionals choose to live, work, play and stay by
offering opportunities for young professionals to network, socialize
and expand their professional horizons. We host a variety of
activities to attract and retain young professionals to our community,
including monthly socials, volunteer activities, "Get Informed" and
"How To" educational sessions, professional development luncheons
and our annual Young Professionals Survey & Community Forum.
In addition to working closely with numerous organizations to create a
community and a voice for Tallahassee's young professionals, we strive to enrich
the city as a whole by providing talent and valuable resources to
local businesses and cultural organizations.
We are a membership based organization. However, you do not have to
be a member or even a "young" professional to participate in any of
our events. If you are energetic and enthusiastic about Tallahassee's
young professionals community, we would love to have you join us.
We offer four main areas of activity: arts and entertainment, civic
engagement, government participation and economic development. Whether
you have a specific interest area or are just looking for a way to meet
other young professionals and business/community leaders, we've got something for you.
These are exciting times to be a young professional in Tallahassee, as
we know we have a great opportunity to help shape our city's future. We
